I love all things creative and expressive! I have memories of dancing with my mom and dad in the living room since I was a toddler and have been dancing, acting and performing since. I had training in ballet, tap, jazz at an early age but my focus became cheerleading and theater in Junior High and High School since there were no dance classes available where I lived at the time. As an adult, over the past 20 years, I have pursued dance through classes, auditions, and performing whenever possible. Once my daughter was born, I started teaching Cardio Dance classes because I love to work out and I love to dance! It's a perfect combination! I mostly love that it provides an outlet for me and for my students to dance in a fun, stress-free way! Everyone should get to experience the joy that dancing can bring. I love sharing that passion with others and the relationships I have made through my dance classes. I also became involved in other dance related projects, private lessons, etc... I have a degree in Early Childhood/Spec. Ed. and taught preschool in the past, so when I began teaching preschool dance at my home studio, it felt perfect because I was reminded how much I love working with children and this was another great way to combine my experiences. Photography also became an interest of mine when my daughter was born and I had a lot of practice snapping shots of her! All things lead to another and....well, now, I love what I do, whether it is teaching dance for exercise, choreographing musicals and wedding dances, performing in musicals, teaching preschool dance, or taking family photos.
